Omar Boraie is an American entrepreneur, philanthropist, and real estate businessman. He is also the founder and Vice President of Boraie Development, a construction company that has completely changed the lives of the citizens of New Brunswick, New Jersey. Omar arrived in America from Egypt with a vision, in which most people who knew him did not believe. Omar originally held a chemistry Ph.D, however, in a report by NJBiz, his vision to rebuild New Brunswick was too great. Once he launched Boraie Developments, he and his team of professionals began a series of projects to rebuild New Brunswick. Boraie Developments has not only changed the landscape of New Brunswick, but it has also enhanced the community in ways that were never before imagined. Omar Boraie acts as a philanthropist in addition to his work as founder and VP of Boraie Developments. He serves as a Board of Trustees for the State Theater of New Brunswick. Boraie Developments sponsored a series of movies that were aired throughout the summer at New Jersey State Theatre in 2016, making the movies free to the community. One of Omar’s sons, Sam Boraie, is one of the Directors of Elijah’s Promises. Elijah’s promise is a non-profit organization in New Brunswick that feeds the homeless. Elijah’s promise gives out over 100,000 meals every year to those in New Brunswick that are less fortunate. Low-cost meals and social services are also offered, as well as vocational training in baking, pastry arts, and culinary arts.
